Saturday, June 16, 2012 is the 13th annual Dad’s Day 5K, 3K and 1K kid’s Run/Walk in downtown Houston, TX.

Race Course
Start and finish on Prairie under the Wortham Arch. The course is on flat concrete city streets, USAT&F sanctioned and certified road race, TX08027ETM. To satisfy insurance requirements, no skates, roller blades, strollers, bikes or animals are permitted on the course for the 5K run participant’s safety.
Competitive Timing
Run timing for competitive 5K runners will be done using “D-tag” with each competitive 5K runners’ bib, distributed early at Packet Pick-Up or on Race Day.
3K Family Walk and Kid's 1K
Not a competitive runner? Show your support in the fight against
prostate cancer by joining the 3K Family Walk. You can also run with your child in the Kid's 1K (12 and under), where every kid finishing receives a medal. Strollers are permitted in the 3k family walk . . . provided that all strollers line-up and start at the back of the pack of 3k walkers.
