The first race in the 2012/13 Human Race Off Road Series is here, and its WildMan!  
The course is set on an army testing ground of Ash Ranges, which is located near to Aldershot, South of J4 of M3 along A331.
The conditions under foot and wheel are testing for even the hardiest of athletes, which as anyone who loves winter racing will know, is what makes it so much fun! 
The Duathlon
The WildMan Off Road Duathlon will kick off with a 10k run in wet boggy trails through heather morrland. The 18k bike course is quite varied technically with a number of slow hilly sections mixed in with fast rolling hills through the heather and muddy tracks. Following on from this you’ll have to get through another 5k run – trust us, your legs will be pushed to the limits. 
Trail Running with added pain!
Whichever trail run you choose will mean hills, mud and then some more hills. You’ll have to save something on the ups for the downhill bits or your quads will be complaining.
